Along with a portion of the rest of the Internet, including Reddit and Wikipedia, The Archives is blacking out on the 18th of January, in protest against SOPA. This will be in effect from 8am to 8pm EST, and during this time, all services will be down.

We've reached a serious milestone here, folks!

The communication server is live! This weekend has been a hectic monstrosity as I've spent the last 3 days compiling Arch, Nginx, PHP, and MySQL to bring you what will be a gorgeous front end to The Archives.

But we're not done here! Oh no. I still have a Forums virtual host, and IRC service to start, and quite possibly an email server to go with everything. At least an outbound mailer so we can email important updates to you, our users.
